What is a color analysis?

A color analysis identifies the undertones, values, and intensities that harmonize with your natural coloring. I use the International Image Institute’s 23-palette system, which allows for a highly precise and nuanced approach to finding your best colors. Your personalized palette helps you choose clothing, makeup, hair colors, and accessories that make you look brighter, more balanced, and more confident.

What is a style analysis?

A style analysis looks at your body’s proportions, your natural lines, and the way you want to express yourself. The goal is to help you understand the silhouettes, fabrics, details, and styling choices that support your personality and lifestyle.

How do I know if I need a color or style appointment first?

If you’re starting from scratch or feeling stuck, I recommend color first — it gives you the foundation for everything else. But if you already know your season and still feel lost with clothing, go style.

How long is an appointment?

Color analyses typically last 90 minutes for a single person appointment, and style analyses usually take 2–3 hours. Combination appointments may vary depending on what you book.

What should I wear to my appointment?

For your color analysis, come with a clean face and no makeup so we can see your natural coloring clearly. For style analysis, fitted clothing works best so your lines and proportions are easy to read. And no stress about the prep. Your confirmation email will walk you through everything.

Do I need to bring anything?

For color analysis, I ask clients to share a photo of their natural hair color around age 20. Style clients will also be asked for a few pre-appointment photos and will complete two questionnaires that help shape and personalize their session. You’ll receive all the instructions you need in your booking confirmation email.

Do you offer makeup guidance?

During your color analysis, you’ll get to try the mascara, blush, and lipstick shades that truly belong in your palette—the ones that brighten your features and feel like an instant upgrade. I’m not a makeup artist, but I am the girl who will happily steer you toward the shades that adore your face and away from the ones that were never on your side to begin with.

Will I receive my color palette the same day?

Yes. You’ll leave with your Pocket Palette and a clear understanding of how to use it in your everyday wardrobe. If you’d like additional tools, you’ll have the option to purchase a digital palette or a fabric palette to complement your Pocket Palette.

What if I’m unsure about certain colors in my palette?

That’s completely normal. You don’t need to wear every color right away. Start with the hues that feel most familiar, then ease into the bolder ones over time. You’ll receive tips on how to introduce color gradually so your wardrobe evolves at a comfortable pace.

Do you work with men?

Absolutely. I work with clients ages 17 and up, including men. Color and style analysis is valuable for anyone who wants a more polished, intentional, and cohesive wardrobe, regardless of gender. The process helps you understand which colors highlight your features and which clothing lines support your natural proportions, making it easier to build a wardrobe that feels confident and put-together.

Do you offer virtual services?

Yes. Style sessions can be done online or in person. Full color analysis is still best done in person so you get the most accurate and reliable results.

What if I’m not fashionable or don’t know my style?

That’s exactly what these appointments are for. You don’t need to arrive knowing anything. My job is to help you discover what works for you, why it works, and how to use that information to make getting dressed easier and more enjoyable.

Can I bring a friend or family member?

Yes. You’re welcome to bring someone with you to your color analysis; I just ask that you let me know ahead of time so I can plan for it. For style appointments, I’m not able to accommodate observers, as the process requires more space, focus, and privacy. If multiple people want to be analyzed together, you’re welcome to book a group color or style session.
